This is the reason you call before you dig! This happened in America, a worker was using a post hole digger and struck an underground high pressure gas main pipe. He took out 2 homes, associated sheds and vehicles.They never found a trace of the man! More info »
Open splice for lights

Open Splice for lighting fixtures! How about this one, they screwed a 2 prong socket adaptor in the fixture. Then pluged in a zip cord, spliced it to another cord with plug end, then plugged the fixture cord in it. More info »
Outlet in door jamb

We saw this at a house. In a finished basement the carpenter added a closet and put the door jamb right on top of the wall outlet!! It would have been very easy to move the device over a bay. It's amazing what you see out there!! More info »

This is classic, notice the $1000 plasma TV! Someone added a zip cord with multiple plug ends around this basement. Stapled to the trim and paneling and the strip of outlets screwed to the paneling... More info »
