Meter Pan not secured

I see this a lot!!! Everytime new siding or stuck-o is put on a house. They amazingly either remove the screws from the live meter pan or just rip it from the house. Then just leave it. I can only imagine the screws dangling inside waiting to short! More info »
Meter Pan Failure

Customer lost some power throughout home. A loose meter socket lug was the problem and the arcing inside the meter pan caused the lug to melt and separate. Which caused the B phase to disconnect. More info »
